Show me your bear rugs
« on: March 10, 2012, 01:59:23 PM »
Took my wifes bear rug in to the taxi last august. Gotta wait till august/sept of this year to get it back. Id like to see some of your guys bear rugs and how good they look on the wall.

I have had some made into rugs and here is one with a great niece on it. I would show the one with my wife on it but she would kill me! :chuckle:

Not a very good pic of the bear rug. He was 8-1/2 yrs old and 225lbs.

Great pictures guys. I never did get my wifes weighed. dragging it down to the road by my self and trying to load it into the truck I would guess it was probably around 200 pounds maybe a little bit more. It was a boar and had a really nice coat and a very nice tan snout.

I'd love to but some chickenshat stole it off my wall.  7'2" nose to tail and about 450 pounds spring weight (Ontario).   :bash:

Here is a bunch of links to pictures of Bear Rugs that I have done.  I thought it would make things easier for everyone if I posted links to pictures instead of a bunch of pictures.  That way for those with slower computers it wouldn't be a download nightmare.

I've got a couple more Bear Rugs finnish.  Havn't getten a chance to take pictures yet.  I'll post those when I do.

I'll have to do some digging, luckily I had a photo of it on the wall with a 6' level leaning next to it for the insurance company.  I'll have to see if I can find the original photo from when I was like 18 or 20....
