Those are heavy duty! How do you secure them? Cable? Lag screw? or both.

Very cool, I have a similar set-up but am afraid someone will cut down the tree. :bash:

You can take my Tasco's too, they have been really pissing me off lately. I leave them on a torn up deer trail for a month and they have 100 pics of nothing and 2 of the ass end of deer. Set straight down the trail.

Mine have worked great too up until this year. They're all right around two yrs old and have spent 90% of their time in the field so I think the sensors might just be going out on them. One just mysteriously quit working, another takes hundreds of pics of nothing no matter how I place it and yet another was mauled by a bear.

I shouldn't complain about them though for $50 I think I have gotten good life out of them, plus I do like the battery life and trigger speed when the sensors are good. If they go back on sale for $39 I'm buying at least 4 more of them.

What a great deal. They won't last long at that price. I'd like to get a couple more but just spent some money on some external batteries and don't want to spend any more right now.

That is a good deal!

I think the tascos don't like real cold weather. I only have mine out in the spring thru the summer and I haven't had problems. It seems like the guys who have had problems are the ones who leave them out all year. :dunno:
