Perch lakes in the northeast , Okanagen and points east, to take 4 grand kids for a weekend. Any ideas?? Thanks

Crappie?....I love crappie. Reminds me of when I was just a youngster. My grandfather used to take me fishing for crappie everytime I was there. That was Texas though.

Just got back from Waitts Lake, fished for about an hour until dusk. Only pulled in 11 perch. Probably would have caught more except the 3 year old was doing more playing and throwing things in the water. The 5 year old "wiggler" finally learned that she would catch more if she put the pole down and only picked it up when the tip was bent over. Fished about 25 feet off the visible weeds on the west side across from the boat launch. If you are pulling up a lot of weeds, go a little farther out. Converted trout setup by exchanging treble for single small hook. Don't use presnelled hooks (small egg sinker sliding above split shot on 4 lb test line).

Like Dugandeer said Palmer lake, Whitestone lake an Lake Osoyoos in Oroville, my in-laws live up there and fish all those lakes. Whitestone and Osoyoos also have bass in them. Palmer also has bass and burbot.
