Regs changed again for nisqually?
« on: July 12, 2012, 12:00:36 PM »
I was reading the regs again for nisqually and didn't see any mention of special gear or anything else this year. I know they went to barbless hooks last year but it seems like this isn't the case this year. Am I missing something? Also, looking in the special gear section and the general rules, it looks like since there's no mention of selective or special gear that treble hooks are legal? What am I missing? I can believe barbless hooks are ok again but not trebles! (For the record I don't care about the barbless thing other than I bought barbed hooks and sometimes the paint leaves a rough edge after I bend it in line, every 5th hook seems to pull fuzz out of a cigarette filter no matter what I do. I also have no intention of using trebles, wouldn't work for the way I fish.)

ALL SPECIES - Aug. 1-Nov. 30: night closure, anti-snagging rule, and barbless hooks required.

anti snagging rule = no trebles.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun
