Vane Tec Vanes
« on: August 22, 2012, 08:34:54 PM »
Anyone with experience with Vane Tec 2" vanes?  Took my Carbon Express arrows to a dealer in Puyallup to have different color vanes put on. They originally had blazer vanes on them and after they were picked up I noticed they had these Vane Tecs on.  Just wondering about the quality of these compared to the blazers.

Best made vanes. That's all I have shot for years. Hated the blazers with the flat base so I switched to the hp's. I shoot 4 fletch on most of my modern hunting arrows.

Honestly I can't really tell a difference between the two other than the name. I have never had a quality issue with either. One may or may not be stiffer than the other, But with a vane that small the only time it would matter would be if you were attempting to create a tight helical in which you would probably use a longer vane.

Vane Tecs are good. But where you notice the biggest diff between vanes is when you fletch your own. For that reason I use Fusions with the clear base. Best fletching vanes I have ever used.
