Got a pic of this bruin  color phase on my trail cam. I don't plan on hunting bear over bait for all of you that are going to assume that. Just wanted to share the pic.

look at his port side ear, looks to have the same scar as the ear in your other "whats this" thread

Kinda looks grizzlyish....... I am sure he is a blackie but between the color and the slight hump in the second picture it makes you wonder. :dunno:

Ya that huge thick neck and massive looking front legs make you look twice on the 1st pic.

Yeah it looks to be a big bear. But as you all know bears are so hard to judge.

If this is in the northeast or north cascades, I say grizzly.  Pronounced hump, color, and height.

JMHO.

Kinda looks grizzlyish....... I am sure he is a blackie but between the color and the slight hump in the second picture it makes you wonder. :dunno:
