Best saltwater spinning reel for the buck?
« on: August 18, 2008, 04:33:20 PM »
Looking for an affordable saltwater spinning reel made in the U.S. or some other country(NOT China) that is dependable and built to last.

All my old dependable brands have moved to China.

Diawa Black Gold for years was a great reel.... I think they can be had for a a decent price.

I really like the Quantum stuff though... Cabo is an excellent real.  Magnet bail trip and titanium bail wire with a great drag.
