In my opinion, candidates that consistently protect our Second Amendment rights, also tend protect our rights to hunt and fish, protect our rights to defend ourselves, protect our private property rights, protect our access to public lands, and protect our Constitution from degradation from domestic influences (research the voting records) and International influences (i.e. the United Nations). They will get my vote, unless there is a very good reason vote differently.
There's a worse side to this. The gun owners who voted for Obama and continue to vote for politicians who vote against their gun and hunting rights. These people can always be heard advocating that "Less is the new More" and that "we have to be satisfied with a shrinking opportunity" and "I don't mind a little inconvenience to buy a gun" and other such claptrap.
