« on: August 06, 2012, 11:51:46 AM »
Whats a good crate/kennel cover so the dog doesnt freeze his butt off driving over the pass in November.
Looking for something somewhat easy on the wallet

One like this works well.  Picked it up at Wholesale Sports.

I ordered a plain OD green one online with free delivery to my local walmart. Much cheeper than one with the cammo.  :twocents:

get the cheapest one you can find. those things get stolen out of the back of uncovered trucks pretty frequently.

before I had a canopy I would  just cut some 1/4" plywood to fit over most the vents and door and bolt them in place. you can get 4x8 sheet of luan for about $10.00

Also put some nice straw in the crate, goes a long way to keeping them warm and it is real cheap. Gets wet just throw it out.
You can carry enough for a week in a garbage bag.
