It's been spotty but I hear it's really turned on lately. I haven't been out for a week now but hope to hit it soon.

Ok, the long weekend is over......Here's the shake down......Thursday, boated one 7 lbs., had multiple hook up's, but ended up lossing the fish..if we had boated what we hooked up , we would have punched both cards for the day.., ..Friday, weather was awesome, hooked one and lost that fish also......Saturday, boated 2 fish, lost one other. Had to leave before tide change, but I think we could had pulled another fish from that rip....family obligations kept us from fishing the evenings. Anyways had a great weekend, was great to get back to my roots, was not so great to see what the penisula grown into, oh well........

The fish we caught thursday, was on a coho killer, chrome.  The other two, were on flasher and ace hi fly, blue.  Overall the flasher and fly at about 20-25 FOW, was the hot rod, if we just could have kept hooked up. We are planning another trip toward the end of Sept., I'll try different hook set ups, at that time. Have you tried the e-chip lures and flashers? Just wondering if the hype was just that....hype... Thanks for the advice, we now own 6 Ace hi flies, thanks to you......Somebody owes you a kick back....

E-chip and Hot Spot flashers suck.

Q-cove breakaways are where its at. Once you use a Q-cove,you'll never use a "regular" flasher again.

I've got a box of about 20 Hot Spots that will never see the water again.

Give them to me and they'll see lots of water.  I love Hot Spots.
