Ready for second weekend!
« on: September 10, 2012, 10:54:43 PM »
Well didn't get as much time down in the 520 early as I hoped but will be down Fri-Sun. My hunting partner doesn't know if and when he might be able to be down so if you are looking for a hunter to partner up with and hike a few miles let me know.

 Good luck! We will be in a Big grey F250 fri-sun. I was there from Tuesday to sunday. Pretty slow for elk but saw a ton of nice bucks for some reason! Hopefully we can get on the elk this last weekend!

Really? I didnt see any deer, except on my way out on the state land. Were you hunting the state land?

nice i wondered if there was vary many elk down there, the good news is you dont have to worry about getting shut down like all the other hunter that just got shut down. next year ill probably scout the state land a bit just in case, because this year i put all my scouting efforts into port of blakely on the east side a couple weeks worth throughout the year   :bash:  :bash:  :bash:
But yeah the state land must have a lot of deer, one night on my way out a doe hopped out in front of my truck and jogged and walk in front of me and wouldnt get out of the road till like after a mile later i got pictures and everything. Never had that happen before
