Northeast Elk Hunt....tough year
« on: September 16, 2012, 08:42:54 AM »
We hunted hard for nine days- saw a total of four elk...

The bulls were calling VERY sparingly- we only got them going on two mornings.  Weather was perfect, and camp was comfortable, so all in all it was a success, but we worked for it.

The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong in the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.
