Eh....I wouldn't waste your time.......

Plenty of bears up there in that whole corridor. I've seen them up at Notellum Creek, Notgonnasay Ridge, and of course C-Post.

I'm kidding of course.

I would suggest taking a look at the thread one of the members posted. It is at the top of the bear section and has a ton of good info. You can spend a lot of time exploring and learning in that general area. Lots of private open to hunt land as well as public. Find the food, get some scouting in, and hopefully you will come across one.

It is worth some time exploring. If you are up on the Basin Road stay well away from the nudist place up there. I hear they give hunters a bad time. I've never come across one but probably only a matter of time. My bear in my avatar was taken from that greater general area. I've seen some blacktail and yotes that are worth chasing as well. Use google earth and get out and start looking. Not to late to get out and see if you can't bag one.

Much of it is currently closed to the public due to fire danger. I know, cause I went up there this week and found out the hard way. Give it a little for the rain to come. Or just go and drive around, there are a few spots left open.
