Herd a rumor that redtop was closed both ways in because of fires. Is this true?

I heard a similar rumor a few weeks ago. Not just red top but most of that area. No idea if its true.

Some places in Teanaway opened up just this morning, don't have the specifics yet though.  A new set of closure orders was apparently sent out this morning.  Unfortunately where I hunt (Entiat) will not re-open this year (Ranger told me the area needs to much rehabilitation even though the fire is no longer a concern)

Tbrady mentioned the Entiat.  The new order that came out Thursday 10/4 is that Mud Creek (5300) and Shady Pass (5900) are open.  You can only hunt west of Mud Creek and east of Shady Pass roads and all the area inbetween in the Entiat Valley.  Don't know about the Chelan side.  The Tyee Road (5700) is reopened and you can hunt both sides of that road.  The Entiat River Road is still closed beyond the Shady Pass road (milepost 28)  On the Wenatchee side nearly everything is open including the Chiwawa River Road (6200).

Things will open up soon after our first good rain or snow.
