Congrats Rick!!! That is nice looking bull.  Glad the meat was ok too. I bet that was fun carrying that load down the hunters trail!

I could have used some wet and cold. I'm still picking dust buggers and spitting mud.... The rifle tag holders should have a unique oportunity. They will be the first group of hunters allowed into the timberlands of the unit. They will get to hunt a ton of elk that have suffered no pressure yet this year.

I'd say its a darn good year to have the Margaret rifle tag. Here's to you boys putting down some wall hangers!

Way to get er done!!!!  Sounds like one hell of a hunt.  Nice Bull too.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Congrats Rick!!  Very nice bull.  Well earned.  Glad you had plenty of help packing.  Enjoyed the scouting trip with you.  Hope we get to use some of the knowledge, and can get on the hill.  Just got back from my WY conditioning trip.  Hunters trail isn't quite so intimidating now :chuckle:

Make sure you are ready for heavy winter conditions.... Gonna be good if we do not get snowed out!
