Winchester 69A Bolt question
« on: October 24, 2012, 08:31:33 PM »
Just bought a Winchester 69a hoping to turn around and sell it but I think the bolt has been changed and want to find out before listing it for sale.  It's a jr. target shooter model.  The bolt has a octagon design so I'm not sure if Win. decided to put out a test run of these or if it's from something else or if it was just machined down. Any help is appreciated if someone knows what it may be.  I know this model had the rear sweeping bolt and this one is straight which is another sign.

All of the 69a I have seen have looked like my 67a bolt handle.  Big and round.  From the pics, the welds don't look original just my  :twocents:
