Well, had a cow tag for Umtanum, I did not see a cow in 3 days. But, I did see five 5x5's, a 5x6, and a nice 6x6. Just my luck, have a cow tag and all I see are bulls, have a bull tag and all I see are cows....

We filled 5 tags out there Thursday. Over a hundred head running around. Constant shooting for 3 hours Thursday morning. Never seen so many elk. Had 80-100 head run by me at 40 yards. That's when I got my cow.

My brother and his friend got on a bunch yesterday in the unit(Wenas). They shot one cow and watched several nice bulls get taken. Haven't heard from them yet today, I have a cow permit also for the unit but have prior engagements that out weigh chasing cows.
