Wanting to hunt around Twisp area for muzzleloader

Any suggestions where to go? My next door neighbor has photo albums of some big o'l bucks that came from around that area.

Hopefully you drew one of the very few tags or else you won't be able to muzzy hunt around there.  Unless you're referring to next year, and even at that, only one unit around Twisp is open, and I'd bet that isn't where those pics came from. :twocents:

I was over there opening weekend of the muzzle season this year and it was slow. The deer numbers in that area are down. We seen a few bucks down but the only thing we shot at was a cyote. If you know the area and had more than a couple days to hunt it i believe you can fill your tag. I wouldnt get your hopes up for a big buck and if you dont know the area it will be more of a scouting trip than a hunting trip!  :twocents:
Remember that buck is climbing that Mt. every day!

Yeah they are older pictures. How about up around Midnight Mtn? Is that open for general season muzzy?
