reloading for a 243 55 grain varmegeddon bullets ?
« on: November 14, 2012, 08:12:51 PM »
just got these bullets from cabelas to load up some new coyote loads. have everything done up to seating the bullet. the issue im having is both books i have say the C.O.L should be 2.710". well when i seat the bullet to this dimension i can wiggle the bullet out of the case.
so i guess the question is can i seat the bullet so that the overall length is shorter then what the book says ????

You can seat them 2.640, 2.610, 2.600.  My book say 2.600 for a 58 grain bullet.
