Just wondering if anyone on here hunts that area or not ? Went up there to the bridge today and was thinking it looked promising but we didnt see hardly any wildlife at all driving up those roads.

It's probably to your advantage if the woods look good but you didn't see anything running around the roads. Check the "deer roads" and maybe you'll see something

I hunted early muzzie deer and saw two deer in tree days of hunting in the area you are talking about, but the weather was very dry and hot. In early june during had very heavy rain we saw quite a few deer.

I was out near there today and seen a couple deer and one real bruiser that was too far for me to catch up to. Definitely a few more cars than normal passing through there today since everyone thought they should block the bridge to throw their pumpkins off it and there was a decent size group picking mushrooms where I was at. You might have seen me cruising around in a big white landcruiser with cargo box on top. I have the quality archery deer tag that is from now till the beginning of late season. If your looking for elk though you should have seen the herd in the field on the way up. Had a few nice bulls in it !! Of course on privateproperty

I've spent a lot of time up there, not really worth the time in my opinion. That area is always open and gets a lot of pressure all year long and not just from hunters.

I spend alot of time up in the browns Creek/Steel Bridge area... Heavily traveled year round and I see little deer sign.... Bears are up there but way off the beaten path.
