Just got done with 2 pvc feeders. Gonna put corn in them, do they like whole or cracked better? Or get the "deer feed" from the feed store?
.5 Sweet feed/  .5 allstock  works good and cheaper
The sweet feed has mollases in it and they really like that sweetness

Don't wanna rain on the parade but since it's raining out :bash: I thought feeding wild animals was/is prohibited in Wa. state or am I wrong? Just a thought.

looks decent, I like the adjustable legs so you could hang this feeder off pretty much anything

for the woods though I really like the bucket/broom handle idea.   One picture I seen a guy used a toilet plunger with the plumger down - not sure that was needed but kind of cool, gives the deer a bigger target to wack I guess.

I'd like to figure out something a bear wouldn't just pull down though - hence the feeder motor above.  Tie that bucket out of reach of bears, would make your feed go a whole lot further.  Prolly pay for the motor in saved feed, and lengthen your refill times.

I was thinking the same thing. More so to avoid other hunters. the feed is going to fall to the ground even if the feeder is hoisted up onto a tree out of sight. but on a pulley of some kind that it could be lowered for re-fills. Im still brain storming the full proof plan
