oh ok, that's where the confusion came in.  The manual made it sound like I had to download it.  No, I have not purchased a map yet just an sd card.  That's where I guess I'm still stuck at.  Not sure what I should download or if I should just purchase a map card.

Like others I would highly recommend  http://www.huntinggpsmaps.com/washington-public-private-land-ownership-topo-gps-maps.

It payed for it self the first time I used it to track down a property owner and got permission to hunt land Id been trying to figure out who owned for 3 years....

I also use it after late season to find travel routes and choke points in the snow, then take a pic (655t) to be able to relocate the spot before the snow flys the next year to set stands...

Hey thats a good idea!  I didnt think like that but sweet.  The pic geotag is really cool feature.  Always learning new tricks.  Agreed the huntwa map is a must!!!  I love it.  I pair it up with birdseye sat imagery and wow.  I can find cuts trails chokes etc. easily and know whats ahead of me so I can aproach better understanding the terrain.
MAGA!  Again..
