One More Try
« on: December 28, 2012, 07:57:12 PM »
Heading out in the morning for one more shot at this hunting thing. Been a cold wet education this year so far and totally unexpected as i havent hunted for a couple years and only have a total of 3 weeks in the woods ever in my life. I have learned alot this year though , probably more than ever before. I bought more gear and my wife saw fit to buy me a excellent pack for Christmas and i bought Boyd Iversons book. Planning on a ton of scouting and putting out my trail cams this year so i fill my tag instead of eating them all.

Also want to thank all you guys on this forum who have taken the time to pass down advice and a few of you have even taken the time to let me hunt with you and have taught me alot in doing so. Just wanted to say thanks alot. I dont have many freinds and i really appreciate all you guys have done to help a newbie out.

well  , i struck out saturday but i did manage to get a little bit turned around out there for about an hour and wasnt sure how much daylight i had and that sucked but i also found a spot with more tracks and turds in the snow than i have ever seen before. Looked like a snowmobile was going thru there and it was all deer tracks.

Also discovered that saturday was the 29 th and not the 30th so i get to hunt one more day on monday.
 :IBCOOL:

Found some great looking spots this year while hunting i am hoping to get my cameras into and see what is around for next season. Thanks again for all the advice and tips guys.
