it was snowing pretty hard where I was today. Didn't see any fresh tracks in the snow. The deer I found was hunkered down in the old growth that the snow couldn't penetrate.
Every thought of my being is in regards to being a high tech predator and I relish the role.

The buck I saw is right where he was supposed to be. On a south facing slope that had no snow, sunning himself about 3/4 the way up the clear cut. I followed his tracks to the edge and he was right there 50 yards out.

I love the Nd. snow !  If you dont see them standing out like sore thumbs, look in any wild rose patch !  They will be there.
