I would recommend these guys from the job they did on my Tikka.  Don't have pics at this time but it is flawless!  $280 shipping/install and about 2 wk turnaround

You have one of the best muzzle brake makers and gunsmiths right there in Covington, his name is Mike Palazzo.

Take Sr18 to the SE272 Kent Kangley exit, head west bound a block or so to 164th Ave S.E. Turn right heading north bound. Mike is on the left about two blocks north. Look for the sign in the front yard "Villa Vera"

Mike is a great guy and a master gunsmith but he is getting up there in age. He does not have a website so a call and a personal visit is a must.

Anybody know anything about the gun shop in Buckley? I would like to change my trigger on my browning stainless stalker, I have a stock trigger and I swear it's a 10 lb pull.  I think I can adjust it myself but would I be better off to change the trigger its self? Thanks

I think you can buy a spring kit from midway and DIY it on that A-bolt trigger.

So the pull weight is all in the spring? What is a good but semi light pull weight on a trigger? I don't want a hait trigger, I've heard that 2.5 to 3 lbs is good. Also, a question on the bolt, can it be taken apart?? It looks like it can but I've tried (every so gently) and can't do it. I would like to clean it inside the bolt. Thanks

I got the Timney trigger spring kit for my A bolt, and used the lighter spring. My trigger pull is now at 2 1/2 pounds. It takes 5 minutes to install it.

I take it that's what you recommend? Where did you get it and how much does it cost? Thanks again. Do you know anything about the bolt being taken apart and cleaned? I heard there was a spring inside it that can rust?

I ordered it online, don't remember where. Either Midsouth Shooters Supply or Midway. I see it has doubled in price since I got it 5 years ago. I only paid $15.

Here's a link to Midway:  http://www.midwayusa.com/product/222337/timney-trigger-spring-kit-browning-a-bolt-2-to-3-lb

As far as taking apart the bolt, I wouldn't do it. I'd just spray it with some gun cleaner, whatever you've got. That's all I've ever done with mine, and I've had it since 1997.
