Rule change regaurding trusts for supressors and other firearms
« on: January 12, 2013, 02:55:18 PM »

This proposal will require that folks who make acquisitions under the National Firearms Act through legal entities to submit photos and fingerprints to local Chief Law Enforcement Officers (CLEO, ie, Sheriff of Chief of Police), but at the same time, remove the requirement that a CLEO sign off on, or approve a transfer.

This proposed change is very relevant for the many folks who use trusts and LLCs to bypass anti-gun local LE.

In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I do not have a trust for suppressors or weapons so i have no ability to judge if this is good or bad. I would guess it makes it easier to get because it does not require CLEO aproval, however it may increase the documentation because it requires a name photo and fingerprints of person in charge.

to me bad but that's just me. seems rather infinging to myself.
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter
