 :yike:   The cow elk I killed last season had realy cool Ivory whistlers. They tipped up on the ends. also the bull from 2010 had amazing color!

These are from my cow this year and bull from a few years back. The cows ivory were much smaller but had a little more color. Both pretty plain though.

Need to clean a little bit on the bulls ivories too. Never did that.

does anyone save deer teeth?  I have never heard or seen of people saving elk teeth. But thats really cool I may have to start saving teeth!

Only the elk ivories, not teeth.  The ivories are what remains of the elk's evolution.  Millions of years ago, they used to have tusks like elephants.

Grear teeth! I had a ring once . Loved it...thief broke in and that's one of the things he stole....never replaced it. It was from my first bull in 1982. Look at all the different colors! I haven't ever put all my teath together. That's a cool colection you have Chad. Bret did an awesume job! I wonder if the elk will grow tusks again to fight off the wolves? The elk realy have lost their defenses against the wolves, I think it is bread out of them...Thanks everyone for sharing! :tup:
