Bushnell 1000 arc or leuopold 750 ??

I am looking for a new range finder for hunting this year.   I was wondering what everyone's takes are on theses too different range finders.   I was also considering the Nikon 550.

I have the Luepold 750 and its great! Haent compared the 2 though.

I have the leupold 750 and really like it but think I might sell it to upgrade to something for a little greater distance.  It worked great last year and for price was very happy.  The best reading I got was 758 out of it.

I have used Nikon, Leupold, and Bushnell. All 1000 yard rangefinders. They all were pretty compareable. 1. I like the Nikon the best and that is what I will buy. 2. Then Leupold. 3. Then Bushnell. Like I said they are all pretty compareable. They all did about the same in the mountains. 700 the 750 yards consistently when you get above that it gets tough ranging. I would go to a store that has all three and look through them to see which you prefere for features and display. You could do no wrong with any that you choose. I am a vortex guy so I would be intrested to hear what people think about there range finder. Also the yardage is in reflective targets. Look at the nonreflective distance to find the true capability of the range finder.

One thing I dont like about my Leupold is the bow mode distance is only 60 yards. If I was conmforable with a shot at 60 and had no reading Id be stumped. If the animal was at 62 Id wanna know!

I like the display just fine but its hardr to see in the dark.

At the sportsman show I played with the new Vortex. I was very impressed. It was smaller than the others and the display was BRIGHT RED. Cant miss its readings...

Have a Bushnell 1500 Arc with Rainguard in full camo that I bought a couple years ago.  Compared a lot of different ones when I made my purchase.  Love the Bushnell, fast, clear, easy to use.  My son who has a Nikon thought it was much better than his....for what it's worth.

I have the new bushnell gforce and im loving them. Ther fast and have lots of good features like the arc a rifle and archery setting, and you can pick out targets in heavy cover of choose to range the brush. Ive ranged animals to over 1100 with it and a building at 1300.

Bushnell Arc, I have personally watched people have issue after issue with the Leupolds at distance.

I have a Leupold RX-1000i TBR w/ DNA and love it.  The reticle is a little bright for night hunting, but its red so it doesn't totally destroy your night vision.  Actually was going to buy one new, and then found one on here for a good price from another member.  I don't have a need to range anything out past 1000yds, but I know this thing will do 900yds+ without any problems all day long, 1000 can get a little tricky if you are trying to range an animal or tree.

The nice thing is that is can give you either just the LOS range, the true ballistic range (adjusted for angle), or will give you approximate holdover if you program in the ballistics into it right.  While the holdover is not perfect, it gives you an idea...

I'm not a Nikon guy but was convinced to buy it by the salesman. WOW. I am impressed. Have used it the last couple years and its the second best I've seen. Only lessor than my dads Swarovski. I, my dad, and friends have all had problems with leupolds and we all are big leupold guys. I highly recommend the Nikon.

I have a Leuopold 750 ( I need to verify it is the 750).  It is perfect for the archer with True Ballistic Range and all that jazz.   I am looking to sell it to upgrade to a rangefinder for long distance rifle shooting.

Like new condition.  Camouflage in color.  New battery.  Two cases.  Bought from Cabelas.
