Gunfighters Inc Ronin carry Kydex.
« on: December 02, 2012, 07:25:21 PM »
I just picked up this Kydex Holser locally (Wenatchee) @ Hooked On Toys. I have been using Raven Concealment and Kaluban(Cloak) Kydex holsters to this point. Picked it up for one of the bargain Law Enforcement  Glock 22 trade inns I purchased(369.00). For anyone thinking about going to Kydex or purchasing a Kydex holster, these holsters are built and finished amazingly well and the cut out is a great addition to the typical Kydex carry holster design. They are everything the Raven and Kaluban are without the 2-8 month wait. Priced at 75.00 they are close in price comparison to the prior two mentioned but are made here in Washington, I believe Leavenworth WA? They didn't have a address on the packaging. I see a bright future for Gunfighters INC.

Ran into the owner(Gunfighters Inc) today. Spoke with him about his Kydex and handed him a Kaluban Cloak I had for a Sig Sauer "Scorpion"/ SureFire 300 combo. I liked his lower profile Kydex belt loops on his "Ronin" holster better than the larger ones that came on the Kaluban Cloak. He took the holster today and said he would replace the loops and cut the over sized sweat shield down. He already sent me pics this evening of the reworked holster.

Before.

After.

The new Gunfighters Inc loops with non slip marine grip tape.

I'm going to have him rework the loops on two other Kaluban and a Raven holster along with their double mag holders.

I like the combat cut as well, My thumb gets gets hung up if the sweat shield is too high. I noticed all your Kydex use loops. Obviously for tactical/belt or pack/vest mount is the way to go. Have you found any good settups using clips? I like to have clips to throw on sometimes, I did not see the option on GUNFIGHTER inc. ?

I have to check them out.   I bought a holster from G-Code Holsters for my Sig Scorpion and I don't like it at all.  The gun is very heavy and not well balanced in the holster so its uncomfortable for me, specially on long hikes.  >:(

You can use the clips to attach the holsters(Raven, Kaluban, Gunfighter Inc) to a Molle carrier vest but I do not have any dedicated for vest carry. I like to have my handgun attached to my waist rig or belt. A secondary on the vest is great but my days of Tossing myself in out out of Bradley's and Blackhawks are past. I can't stand tactical thigh rigs, there are very few situations that deem them necessary. Guess guys like the "Joe Cool" factor. They are a pain in the hindend to run with, they hang up on everything getting in and out of tight spaces. I would take a low left side vest or chest cross draw mount holster any day over a tactical thigh rig.  Especially when sitting in vehicles.

Just picked up my Gunfightersinc holster and mag pouch today.  Adam is a class act and his work is amazing.  He custom made both and I am extremely happy with the finished product.  I highly recommend his work for those looking for a custom kydex holster.

Adam is a stand up guy, he's rounding out his work well. The latest GunFighters Inc Kydex for a Springfield XDS.

Next time I meet up with him, I'm going to have him do a custom sheath for a Gene Ingram #6 knife of mine.
