I did a little research on Kokesh yesterday and he seems to be a kook. Sure he's a vet but they were trying to downgrade his discharge (didn't know they could do that). Anyway, just from what I've read about the guy, this is not something I would want to take part in. It's just a bad idea, regardless who leads it,  and nothing good will come out of it. Whatever goes wrong will just play into the waiting arms of the liberal press. Wouldn't even be surprised if we find out Kokesh is being supported by the left.

Don't believe everything you read on wikipedia but this will give you some places to start looking.

according to the interview, no handguns will be allowed and rifles will be slung on backs only, keeping it obvious the hands are empty/gun free.

And even though the media will try to jump on it, it could backfire or FTF like the previous attempts to demonize the 2nd.

"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

Between where and when I can see a whole lot going wrong with this or at least in the eyes of the media and those just waiting for another excuse to ram through more gun control.

newest lamestream news coverage of this

Adam Kokesh on CBS DC WUSA9 #OpenCarry130704

my fear is that 10,000 well meaning but useful idiots are going to lose their so called "gun rights" for transporting loaded firearms across state lines, maybe they should rethink and load them when they arrive  :dunno:

from the examiner article::

"Videos of Kokesh's arrest have been posted on Youtube. In the videos, it appears that an effort was made by someone to plant drugs on him just before he was arrested, but this could not be confirmed. Kokesh was charged with resisting arrest and was ultimately taken to the United States Federal Detention facility in Philadelphia. He was later charged with refusal to process as well."

arrested for resisting arrest?? by FEDS?? at a pot rally while not smoking?? WTF? this is crazy!
