First Trailcam Pic
« on: May 10, 2013, 01:03:45 PM »
I got excited on my first trailcam pic, now I know who's been responsible for the turds on the road that look like big white hairballs.

I love looking at my trail cam pics every couple of weeks when i check my cards haha like a little kid on christmas.

Side note that camera is awfully close the that road i hope its very well concealed and or lagged to a tree.

Python locked to a tree in a bear box... this is behind locked DNR gates for Spring Bear. Only 25 hunters + loggers in there. I'm only planning to leave it for a week or two to see if mr bear comes back to peel some more trees.

Thx for the advice.

Probably... I moved from the first place I told you about... I'm farther NE now.

Time to move a little more I'd say. Cool pic indeed. Of the thousands of pics of I've gotten I've got one "maybe" lion pic. Any bears?

I could be wrong, but I think he's a bobcat. I'll try to get some of the other pics up.

I would have to say bobcat . . . First off, look at it's size in comparison to the 'rut' of the road there.  It can't be more than 3 feet long.  It'd have to be a very young cougar if it were.  Even at that, young cougars have their long tails.  :twocents:

Neat picture none-the-less! Cat pictures seem to be few and far between for me!

I do agree it is small, however, I see a long tail.

I thought bobcat as well and I feel like I know that road :dunno:

If you've seen one DNR road with 10-15 year thinned timber, you've seen em all.
