Just curious how many of you hunt the Randle area? I was thinking about huntin it in the late bow season.  Any of you guys have success in Randle?  The area I wanted to hunt is actually in the Packwood unit which is not open in the late season.  Just curious if anyone could give me some pointers or suggestions.

Very small unit.  But it does have a couple of ridges in it that are gated and have deer in them.  From what I have seen it does not get hunted very hard for deer, but there is a late muzzleloader elk season during part of the archery season and there will be a lot of muzzleloader hunters hunting.  Plus the pheasant release site will still be open, with a few people out hunting birds.

I shot my 350"+ bull during late archery (Thanksgiving Day) in the Randle unit.  I can't give you any pointers but the spot I like to hunt is hard to get into and my plan B for this year.
