I also like to mix flour, johnnys, garlic powder, and black pepper in a big ziplock bag(once again, amount depends on personal preference) and half or quarter the morels depending on size, then shake them up in the mixture and put in a pan of hot oil. They dont take long, just untill they are nice and golden brown. These are great by themselves or dipped in ranch.

So I did Something A Little Diff From Yours.  I Took The Bigger Ones And Stuffed Them With Shredded Parmesan, And Minced Green Onions.  Then Rolled Them In Melted Butter, Coated Them As You Described, And Fried Them In Olive Oil.

  Awsome!

If you can pick some big ones, 3" or bigger, make up some crabmeat salad, about half of which is 1/2" chunks of swiss or cheddar cheese and stuff them. Put the stuffed morels in a casserole dish or a flat baking pan, brush them with melted butter and salt, and cook for about 20 minutes at 400. These will make your taste buds achieve climax, guaranteed.
