Reason # 8002 to hate the whales...

8001 was them stealing salmon

8000 was getting tickets for getting too close to them (or them getting too close to you and you not getting out of the way)

7999 was them screwing up salmon fishing when they come  by

7998 was tourists who love them

I can go all the way down the list, stupid blackfish.

Looks fairly staged to me. I think they knew Shamu was looking for dinner. I woulda yanked that thing out of the water as soon as it lost its grip on the tail.

reminds me of fishing the riptides in the sound a long time ago. gramps & dad always said get um in quick. seemed like the orcas followed the same paths as us. at times we had to pull in & just watch. they would be right next to the boat. to this day they are still my favorite.
