Moultrie m-990i
« on: June 24, 2013, 09:46:53 AM »
Been itching to buy another camera lately so I started checking out the latest camera's and decided on this one. This will be camera number 7 for me! I have 2 m-100's and I love them, and this is basically the new and improved m-100, blackflash, 10.0mp pictures instead of 6.0, faster trigger and recovery time, better detection and range, suppozed to reduce blur caused by movement.

anyways I found a sweet deal on ebay, the M-990i, camlockbox security box, masterlock python cable and a 2gb sd card all for $204.95 = free shipping!

Figured I'd let you guys know! I can't wait for it to get here! :)

I've looked at these new ones as well.  Can't imagine it not being an excellent cam.  You got a good deal too.  Can't wait to hear the report.

I just bought a 990i, have not been able to get it in the woods yet, recovering from knee surgery, maybe a couple more weeks. You did get a good deal.

I have a m-80, m-100, and a couple m-880's and I would have to say that due to the fact I never use the screen on the m-100 theres no point in having something extra to drain the battery. Every time it takes a pic the screen lights up and then turns back off. I noticed that the 80 and 880's seem to last longer without the screen. I understand if a guys gonna use the screen to view pics but I'm sure not gonna stand in my spot to view 2000 pics. Just my  :twocents:
