Ruger 22/45 lite
« on: June 26, 2013, 07:31:01 PM »
Thinking of getting one to replace the P22 and Sig Mosquito I sold. Who has one, how do you like it. Any problems? If my research is right they are basically a polymer mark 3 right. Thanks Allen

With a steel sleeved aluminum barrel, threaded. Fun gun!

Good on selling the Sig .22, the only Sig I have truly been unhappy with. Their fit and finish sucked! Wish they had taken the care in designing their .22 as they did their 1911 line. Maybe some day.

Match that up with a Tactical Solution suppressor, and you will have one light, quiet, accurate toy there!

Thats why I'm looking at the 22/45 lite instead of the regular MarkIII the Lite comes with the threaded barrel already. Just turned in the form 4 and check for my new SWR Spectre II

Ya the Sig was a little disappointing it shot decent but the fit and finish did suck. I bought it cheap and flipped it for a profit.

The Specter is one of the best for an easy to disassemble .22 can out there! You will be happy with it!

I have the 22/45 with wooden grips and absolutely love it. The only complaint I had was how much of a pain it was to remove the magazine with the magazine disconnect in place, so I got a replacement bushing from a forum for the 22/45 and removed the disconnect. Oh and I also did a small modification so I can slingshot it without having to fuss with the bolt stop (also outlined on said forum). I love it though! Accurate and a joy to shoot
