Meat Locker near Forks
« on: August 16, 2013, 05:52:03 PM »
Just curious if anyone could point me in the right direction here.  I'm hoping that I'm not jinxing myself by asking or "counting my chickens before they hatch", so here it goes...I'm looking for a meat locker near Forks during the early archery season, (just in case - fingers crossed) in the chance that we get an elk down.

Can't give you any 1st hand info, except I have spent time in Forks and know of no lockers or butcher shops.

Since you're from the peninsula, PA would be closer to home.
www.sunrisemeats.com/ Heard decent reviews about these guys in PA.

There is also an Evergreen Meats in PA- (360)457-8555 ; newer, know nothing about them.

Continuing on with Whack 'Em's question, if there are no meat lockers in the Forks area (have to go around to PA), then what about south?  Hoquiam/Aberdeen?

Sunrise in PA is probably best bet.  There is/was some kind of meat/butcher shop at the Mexican grocery store back by the FS offices, don't know if they rent out space.
