I have met him before at Sportsmen's.  I never use a guide but it was interesting hunting so close to home and all...

I will be interested in reading about your daughters hunts.

I know Shane well.  I also know where the blind is.  If you put your time in, the Elk will show. She has a good chance of getting a nice bull.

She has a COW tag! Even better!

why does she only have a cow tag? If she has a west side archery tag for elk, in the puyallup unit she gets to hunt any elk. if she's in the Mashel unit it would be 3 point minimum or cow it doesn't matter if she drew and antlerless tag or not she still get to hun the  general tag

Puyallup archery elk is any elk. I'm sure he paid for a cow hunt and not a bull hunt. Thats why.

No action at our blind yesterday or today, but Shane has 5 other hunters in blinds some on the property we are hunting and some on other properties. At the morning meet and Greet over cups of Christian crack We found out one hunter put a cow down at dark last night a 6x6 bull hung up at 70 yds for another of shanes hunters and a 5x5 was 150yds from another guys blind but had no intrest of coming any closer. Oh yeah and one guy passed on a 3x4 rag horn . So it seams like our guide Shane is Putin people on critters. We will just have to be patient.
