big ol' newb ?
« on: October 14, 2013, 08:09:19 PM »
So with everyone already reading the title I feel like I should say please dont harass me for asking this question.

Ok so I have been reading the rules and regs and im sorta confused from things im reading and what im being told by people I probably shouldnt be listening to. My question is if I was to hunt bear in the spring I need a tag, license, and apply for a special hunt? Compared to fall season where I just need to have a tag and license to legally take a bear? Or am I missing something here. Once again please dont harass me...well to much haha. thanks for the clarification.

In short. ....buy 2014 bear lic. ...put in for spring hunt....get drawn then buy tag and hunt your area. You don't get drawn buy tag before gen season and hunt reg season. Two bear tags a year total...one east one west or two west.
