Stevens Pass/Wenatchee hunting

I don't know what's wrong with that place. A few weeks ago I went hunting in area between Stevens Pass and Wenatchee and saw deer.Usually there are a lot of  deer and grouse in that area. However, I went hunting this morning and tried to find deer , but didn't find anything. Then I took Smithbrook road and hiked the mountains ....I was on the top of the mountains,I was working very hard to find something but I didn't even see grouse anywhere...No signs of any animal.. Why has everything changed in a few weeks?
