i was deer and elk hunting in the wynooch this last weekend with a group of 5, we spent a good part of the weekend finding and following elk tracks and came up empty except a doe.
Is there anyone hunting this area?
how is everyone else doing while hunting this area?
any helpful tips
?
thanks

Elk are there but usually on private land. You might find a few in the clear cuts but most are in the pastures.

Trying to find a bull in the wynoochee is a little difficult. Easy to find on private land, hard to find anywhere else especially in late season.
A few buddies hunting have seen 200+ elk this late season and only 1 legal bull.
