Only just over 3 months until the opener. Youth opener even sooner. I'm already thinking about those chilly morning gobbles. The days are already starting to get longer. April will be here before long.

I think just under 4 months would be more accurate

California opens on Mar 30, maybe we should plan a hunt there, that's only 87 days!

When do the regs for Spring Turkey normally come out? And is the opener always on 4/15?

Not sure when they'll have the spring phamphlet out. Probably mid to later Feb.
Spring as it currently is set up will start April 15 and run thru the end of May.
However there is a youths only season (under 16) that will start 7 to 13 days before the regular spring season. This year it will probably be April 5th & 6th.

I'm starting to get the itch already to start chasin thunder chickens! Yep the opener April 15th and depending on the snow pack I will plan my hunts this year. Hoping the wife and I can finally get our double this year!
