Bro gets a dog on the move: Archery Coyote Hunting
« on: January 11, 2014, 11:22:40 AM »
My brother filmed this quick coyote hunt by himself. We have found these dogs don't usually stop, so on the move is the only option. We have tried to stop them before and typically they turn and run. Looks like it worked out this time.

We sell just the universal head camera mount; you put whatever camera, camcorder, action cam or cell phone you have or decide to buy. Most cameras take video equivalent to most action cams but with more features. We use camcorders because there's no competition for quality and features like zoom, screen, stabilization, quality audio, etc.

We offer two models: CamStrap Pro = $40 and the CamStrap Basic = $35.

Here is a link to the Solvid Store where you can see the products and dozens of videos. http://solvidsystems.com/shop/

Usually a bark works to stop them you might try a decoy as well to keep you out of their sight Nice shot looks like fun with a bow

Yes that sometimes works, but it also draws the attention at the hunter. A decoy would probably be the answer. This was a drive by - see it from the road - hop out and give it a shot - scenario, and a decoy was not present. Either way, if he is going to be arrowing them on the move, he needs to start leading them just a little bit more as all three have been back further than optimal; all did result in a fairly quick kill though. I guess that's what happens when you broadhead a 25 pound dog.
