Walker's Game Ear?
« on: February 06, 2014, 11:32:51 PM »
Getting older sucks for the most part, my hearing is lousy and I have severe tinnitus. I wear hearing aids at all times, it helps some with the tinnitus, but they don't help block the sound of a muzzle blast. Does anyone have experience with the Walker's Game Ear? I'm curious how well they block loud sounds. To all you guys who can still hear - protect your ears!

I have them and love them,  but unfortunately I bought the muffs and I can't bow hunt with them on.

For rifle they're great and work as advertised at dampening the noise.  They'll make a squirrel sound like a stampeding herd of Wilderbeasts though so be warned.   I kind of freak out a little if I wear them when I'm hunting all alone.

I hear a ladybug land on a flower and go WHAT WAS THAT!!
