"Big Wally" passed away. Id assume someone took over his operation. Yelp would know.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

I knew Gordon "Big Wally", we visited every year at the sport shows. I never made it down to fish with him but always enjoyed visiting with him, he was a great guy. He had a solid business, great knowledge of fishing, a good clientele, and was an asset to the industry. Very sorry to hear of his passing.  :(

Gordon did pass away before Christmas. Sad, sad day. His nephew Rick Rovegno has been doing the guiding for a few years now. Marge is still running the operation as far as I know.

Yeah, Gordie was a good guy. I haven't met Keith, I have talked to Rick before but haven't fished with him.
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!
