Elk / Coyote Staredown
« on: February 23, 2014, 03:07:25 PM »
Not a lot moving by my cameras in the past month, but thought this was a neat picture.  Evidently the coyote realized he wasn't going to get anything out of shadowing the elk and gave up.

Nice!
I watched a cow (beef) stare down a coyote for at least 5 minutes before charging and stomping the crap out of that song dog!  I was hoping the elk would do the same.
