Parasite in duck meat.

On Saturday we shot some pintail and widgeon at Ridgefield Refuge.
I don't remember what it is called, but all the ducks had the parasite in the meat that looks like rice.
My first time finding them.
Needless to say the wife was not happy.
It's not true that I am good for nothing---I can be used as a bad example!!

Nasty man. Not much bothers me...snakes, spiders, heights, etc...

but ticks, parasitic creatures....ugh!

Hell Michelle, there are parasites in every chunk of meat we eat no matter if it is wild or domestic. I remember opening the smoke house door, in Bethel, AK where I working on a remote site job, and seeing worms doing the hula trying to escape the heat. Just extra protein that will never hurt ya if it's processes correctly. :whoo: :whoo:
