Its the draft regualions they are supposed to review at the meeting.  Shows 2012, 2013, and 2014 season dates.  I will post a link if I figure how to do it from the iPad

Interesting, Guess we will have to wait for the regs to come out and see.

Just guessing but I'd say that's a mistake.

Good eyes, Scotty!

Like most of you, I really hate to look over the errata in the regulations, and correct the booklet before I make decisions.  The good folks at WDFW are human, too, and make mistakes.  It is really helpful that you find such mistakes before the regulations are published.

Come to think of it, I wish WDFW would have a bounty system, and pay people to find mistakes in the proposed regulations prior to publishing.  E.g. give Scotty 3 points for finding this error--that would save us all a lot of trouble.

Maybe the tribal hunters talked them into one more Saturday of hunting before the rest of us get to hunt it.  :yike:

Funny thing is I remember several years ago they had this same error in the pamphlet. I hunted the Teanaway unit on a Saturday when most people were waiting until Sunday to hunt.  :chuckle:

Yeah, something similar happened in the ml regs a few years back and I reminded a coworker of the traditional opener date. He checked the revised regs and sure enough there was an error. They went in on opening day and killed three cows. On the way out they ran into a guy biking in on  a scouting mission.

The late ML elk in Issaquah has a similar issue

Late deer ML and Archery opens Sat
Late elk archery opens Sat
Late elk ML opens Sunday

I e-mailed asking if it was a typo or correct.  They answered "yes"

Actually, the late muzzleloader and late archery elk season, and the late archery deer season begins on a Wednesday.

The one that's different is the late muzzleloader deer season. It opens on a Thursday (Thanksgiving.)

I have no idea why they can't start the muzzleloader deer season the day before Thanksgiving like the other ones do, but it's been this way for as long as I can remember.
