Here we go again
« on: May 07, 2014, 08:08:42 AM »
Here we go again.
New Lab pup from WRL.
He's got a 9 yr old FM CBR to follow around.  She has accepted him much better than I could ever have hoped.
He's a lot more confident following her around.  Noise barely gets his attention, vacuum, Tiller, chain saw at a safe distance, no problem.
Will not intro gun far a while yet.
Sleeps through the night in his crate, only grunts a bit when he wants out in AM.  Never had any whining or crying.

Now 9 weeks, Photos at 8 weeks
Spent most of my $$ on huntin, fishin & retrievin dogs, the rest I just pretty much wasted.

Ya say fish go in here, OK where are they?

Getting him used to being in the duck boat.  Noise and travel don't seem to bother him at all.
10 weeks now, teaching sit and fun retrieves in are with no distraction.  Only 3 to 5 at a time, always leave'em wantin more.
so far, so good.
