For a lot of folks in our great nation, Memorial Day weekend is the beginning of summer.. a time to venture out on our first camping trip of the year, take the family on a drive along a beautiful East/West ocean coast shoreline, host a BBQ with friends and family, and to enjoy a long holiday weekend to unwind and relax from a busy spring at work. I remind all my fellow elk hunters that for many families, this weekend means a trip to the cemetery to grieve, mourn, remember, and honor fallen heroes from wars present and past. I urge you all to please keep those who have secured our way of life and very existance in this great country through the ultimate sacrifice in your thoughts and prayers. Let us never forget. This is one national holiday I "never" forget to display my American flag.
